Narukawa Art Museum

The Naragawa Art Museum on the shores of Lake Ashinoko in Hakone opened in April 1988. The collection has more than 4,000 items centering on contemporary Japanese painting, and it continues to grow.

The collection of more than 40 works (including sketches) of Ikuo Hirayama’s works, centered on more than 150 representative works by the painter and hill person Yamamoto.

Fumiko Hori, Nobutaka Oka, Maki Susumu, Yuki Sekiguchi, Yoshihiko Yoshida, Takehiko Mori, Hirohiko Hiraiwa, Tadao Okazaki, Satoshi Kobayashi, Toshihiko Maemoto, Takeshi Ushio and Masato Yanagisawa are among the best in Japan. In addition, as a collection that boasts one or two in Japan, there are works by Rieko Morita, Tadashi Ishimoto, Yoshiyuki Nakano, Reiji Hiramatsu, Keigo Kimura, Goiwa Naito, Choji Yaya, Saidai Yoshida.

It is a unique museum that anticipates future masterpieces that go with contemporary artists.

成川美術館

箱根・芦ノ湖畔に立つ成川美術館は、昭和63年4月（1988年）に開館いたしました。現代日本画を中心にそのコレクションは4000点を超え、いまも増えつづけています。

文化勲章受章画家・山本丘人の代表作150点余りを核に、平山郁夫作の作品を40点余（素描を含む）を所蔵。

堀文子、岡信孝、牧進、関口雄揮、吉田善彦、毛利武彦、平岩洋彦、岡崎忠雄、小林済、前本利彦、牛尾武、柳沢正人らの作品数は、日本一を誇ります。そのほかにも、日本で1、2を誇るコレクションとして、森田りえ子、石本正、中野嘉之、平松礼二、木村圭吾、内藤五琅、矢谷長治、吉田多最らの作品群があります。

現代の作家とともに歩む未来の名品を先取りした個性的な美術館です。
